New Year's: heavy moments of reflection and the promise of new beginnings. One of the most common sentiments that I notice during this season, especially within myself, is nostalgia. The longing or remembering of things that used to be.
Rose Coloured Frames is a new song from my upcoming full-length album: "Driving In The Dark", which will be released in the spring of 2018. The song encapsulates the memory of what was, and painfully, what truly is. We are compiling a lyric video of photos to tell the story of this uniquely wondrous and simultaneously aching feeling.
This is where YOU come in. I need your help.
I'm looking for your submissions of photos that vividly transport you back to a time or place in which things were not as they are now. Special memories with loved ones, old family pets, or moments in time that seemed so insignificant but hold the weight of the world in that one second frame. Everything means something to someone, and I want to tell your stories with my song. Feel free to share your story with the photo in your email, I'd love to hear the inspiration behind them.
